The project focuses on intimate close-up portraiture, emphasizing raw skin texture and precise styling details such as wet-look hair and bold, minimalist accessories. The series leans into a clean, editorial aesthetic, alternating between high-contrast monochrome and warm, earthy color palettes. Photographer Matallana and stylist Davis Carrasquillo utilize techniques such as analogue film and natural light to capture defined facial features and material textures, including sheer fabrics and statement jewelry. The result is a refined exploration of modern beauty.
