A Whisper Out of Time is a high-fashion editorial series for French Magazine that explores urban textures and avant-garde tailoring. Through a series of dynamic outdoor portraits, the project leans into a raw, atmospheric aesthetic, utilising natural light and analogue film techniques to frame its subject against grit-heavy street environments and vibrant architectural backdrops. The series features model Ahmad Cisse, whose sculptural styling and layered silhouettes—ranging from graphic leather outerwear to fluid floral tailoring—anchor the visual narrative. Photographer Delwin Kamara works alongside fashion editor and art director Marcell Rocha to create a cohesive, moody study of movement and contrast. The editorial is further defined by the detailed work of makeup artist Pascale Poma, whose high-contrast application complements the project’s distinct retro and grainy visual sensibility.
