A Whisper Out of Time is a fashion editorial produced for French Magazine, capturing a series of stylized, urban-focused portraits. Photographed by Delwin Kamara with fashion styling and art direction led by Marcell Rocha, the project utilizes an analogue film aesthetic to ground its high-fashion compositions in raw, everyday environments. The series features model Ahmad Cisse posed against gritty city backdrops, ranging from graffiti-covered skate ramps to residential brick architecture. Technique and texture play a central role, with natural light and deliberate grain elevating the avant-garde styling. Makeup artist Pascale Poma contributes to the narrative with precise, high-contrast looks that complement the varied, layered ensembles—from oversized puffer jackets and patterned velvet suits to intricate knitwear. The editorial leverages a vertical layout, blending monochromatic palettes with vibrant accents to create a cohesive, atmospheric visual story.
