Flaunt #203 Covers

Apr 2026
Flaunt magazine continues its tradition of provocative visual storytelling with the release of issue #203, a project that masterfully bridges the gap between high-fashion editorial portraiture and cinematic character study. Featuring actress Dove Cameron as the central subject, this editorial campaign leans into a sophisticated minimalist aesthetic, relying on precise compositions and saturated color palettes to anchor the viewer. Photographer Petros Kouiouris captures a series of striking frames that oscillate between the sharp, high-key studio strobe lighting used for structured leather ensembles and the more intimate, diffused natural light that highlights the tactile details of ribbed knits and ornate, ruffled bolero jackets. Throughout the issue, the styling—orchestrated by fashion editors Christopher Campbell and Marc Eram—creates a dynamic dialogue between texture and form, while hair styling by Clayton Hawkins and Riad Azar, paired with the polished makeup artistry of Ernesto Casillas and Walter Obal, ensures every look feels curated yet lived-in. The interplay of shadow and light, particularly in the dramatic bucket hat portrait, adds a layer of mystery that is quintessentially Flaunt. By blending traditional magazine media sensibilities with an almost narrative, live-action technique, the project transforms simple portraiture into a comprehensive study of contemporary fashion and celebrity presence that demands focused attention from the reader.
