Stop Me If You’ve Heard This One Before

Sep 2025
Stop Me If You’ve Heard This One Before is a comprehensive menswear editorial feature for Flaunt magazine. The series explores classic tailoring and contemporary silhouettes, placing a heavy focus on the intersection of architectural texture and high-fashion layering. Photographer Celeste Sloman leads the visual narrative, employing both crisp flash and soft, atmospheric natural light to shift between polished studio environments and moody, intimate interiors. Fashion editor Christopher Campbell defines the aesthetic with tactile material play, blending heavy wools, structured leathers, and faux furs with heritage-inspired accessories like cravats, gloves, and riding boots. Makeup artist Miguel Lledo complements the sartorial depth, ensuring a clean, precise finish across the varying portraits. Technically diverse, the project oscillates between monochrome compositions and rich, warm-toned sequences. The work leans into editorial storytelling, utilizing a mix of playful, high-speed movement and static, contemplative posing that emphasizes the structural weight and ornate details of the garments.
