About

Commissioned for Financial Times HTSI Magazine, the In Patagonia project is a visual exploration of South America’s southernmost region. Through a collection of editorial landscape and documentary photography, the work captures the vast, rugged topography of the area, ranging from windswept plains to snow-capped mountain ranges. Photographer Sebastian Sabal-Bruce leans into a cinematic, observational aesthetic. The series utilizes analogue film and natural light to emphasize the remote, textured terrain and atmospheric shifts of the wilderness. Edited by Jo Ellison, the project maintains a consistent documentary focus, highlighting both the quiet isolation of the landscape and the traditional elements of life within it.
