Fashion’s NEW JOY, an editorial feature for Financial Times HTSI Magazine, highlights sculptural silhouettes and intricate textile work. The project centres on a series of high-contrast portraits and movement-based imagery starring model Sun Mizrahi. Across both indoor and outdoor settings, the work leans into a refined monochrome aesthetic that elevates the volume and motion of feathered and fringed garments. Photographed by Sonia Szóstak, the series utilises natural light to emphasise the architectural backdrop and rich textures of the collection. The editorial team behind the feature includes hair stylist Joe Burwin and makeup artist Erin Green, who complement the subject’s natural features and voluminous hair. Casting for the project was led by Helena Balladino and Piergiorgio Del Moro, securing a cohesive visual presence throughout the editorial. The execution frequently employs analogue film techniques and chiaroscuro lighting to ground the modern fashion styling within a classic, narrative-driven frame.
