Fantastic Man
SS26

Apr 2026
For the SS26 issue of Fantastic Man, the magazine doubles down on its signature approach to elevated menswear, delivering an editorial campaign that masterfully oscillates between rigorous tailoring and playful subversion. Through the lens of photographer Ilya Lipkin, the project captures a series of dynamic portraits that lean into architectural minimalism, utilizing a stark, high-key studio environment to highlight the structural integrity of the season’s silhouettes. Fashion editor and stylist Gerry O'Kane introduces a tactile tension to the collection, layering classic pinstripe wools and sharp double-breasted suits beneath translucent plastic raincoats, creating a synthesis of the traditional and the experimental. The execution relies on a blend of studio strobe and natural light to emphasize the rich textures of leather gloves, heavy trenches, and crisp dress shirts, while the choreography—guided by Ryan Chappell—animates the subjects in mid-stride or captured in moments of kinetic energy. Featuring talent such as Kit Clarke and models including Ali Latif and Fernando Cabral, the project employs a monochromatic palette and cinematic chiaroscuro to achieve a timeless, polished aesthetic. With precise hair styling from Matt Mulhall and grooming by Lynski, the series reinforces a sharp, focused vision of luxury fashion that prioritizes geometric composition and an intense, direct engagement with the viewer, solidifying the brand’s authority in contemporary menswear documentation.
