Ring Ring Ring is a fashion editorial commissioned for Fantastic Man, exploring the intersection of urban infrastructure and personal style. The series utilizes analogue film photography to document a series of subjects engaged in conversation within public telephone booths. The imagery leans into a documentary-style approach, pairing varied sartorial choices—from pinstripe suiting to eclectic layered knitwear—against the industrial backdrop of green public payphone enclosures. Photographer Bruno Staub employs high-contrast monochrome and soft natural light to highlight textural details, from fabric weaves to the mechanical components of the vintage telephony equipment. The project was executed with fashion styling by Jason Rider, who curated the eclectic wardrobe, and makeup artistry by Takenaka. The work relies on vertical compositions to anchor the subjects within their confined urban environments.
