Ring Ring Ring is a fashion editorial series for Fantastic Man, exploring classic urban aesthetics through the motif of the public telephone. Photographed by Bruno Staub, the project utilizes both colour and monochrome imagery to frame its subjects within the geometric confines of traditional Japanese payphone booths. The work leans into a documentary-style approach, pairing formal tailoring with eclectic layering to create a sense of candid, everyday engagement. With fashion styling by Jason Rider and makeup by Takenaka, the series highlights textural contrasts—from brushed mohair and pinstriped shirts to metallic handset cords. The execution relies on analogue film techniques, incorporating natural light and high-contrast tonal ranges to document the intersection of classic communication and modern style.
