Fantastic Man has always occupied a distinct corner of the menswear landscape, but their latest project, POV, strips away the noise to examine the architectural relationship between cloth and the body. Through a series of stark, high-contrast portraits, the series explores the intersection of classic tailoring and modern utilitarianism. The editorial fashion photography leans into a documentary sensibility, utilizing natural light to elevate the subtle textures of stiff collars, pleated tuxedo shirts, and wool trousers. By alternating between intimate close-ups of leather and fabric and broader, worm's-eye perspectives, the imagery captures the structural integrity of the garments. With fashion styling by Marcus Cuffie, the project balances the rigidity of formal attire with the raw, lived-in reality of the human form, moving away from traditional showroom aesthetics toward something more authentic.
