For 'The Poise of Pause,' Esquire Korea presents a fashion editorial series that leans into refined tailoring and a contemplative mood. Captured by photographer Joongsan Yang, the collection of portraits explores a palette of earth tones and clean silhouettes, set against both minimalist indoor architecture and rugged natural environments. Each frame emphasizes a sense of restraint, utilizing soft natural light to highlight the textures of the apparel—from suede and leather to cable-knit textiles. The editorial, with hair styling by Jang Hae In, maintains a consistent vertical composition that balances the subject with structured surrounding lines. The project makes use of analogue film techniques to achieve its muted, textured aesthetic.
