Modern Love, a fashion editorial for Elle U.S., explores the interplay between contemporary architectural form and high-concept styling. Captured by photographer Nick Chard, the series leans into a minimalist aesthetic, juxtaposing crisp, clean lines with textured textiles and organic sculptural elements. The editorial navigates an urban, sophisticated atmosphere, utilising natural light to define silhouettes and highlight the tactile qualities of the wardrobe. Featuring model Betsy Gaghan, the imagery moves through diverse studio and interior settings, occasionally employing direct flash to emphasize contrasting elements and geometric compositions. Fashion editor and stylist Elissa Santisi anchors the visual narrative, while hair styling by Dennis Lanni and manicures by Tracylee contribute to the polished, detail-oriented execution of the project.
