Salty Steps is a fashion editorial produced for Elle Bulgaria that leans into a coastal aesthetic. Featuring model Ale Velazco, the project explores the interplay between swimwear and natural, rugged landscapes. The series focuses on textures and silhouettes across sandy beaches and rocky coastal formations. Photographer Nando Alavedra captures the editorial under natural light, incorporating elements like golden hour tones and clean compositions. Fashion editor and stylist Sara Lloret curates the wardrobe, which includes swimwear, knitwear, and statement jewelry. The project makes use of analogue film techniques to frame the subject against the open ocean and architectural coastal details.
