About

Easy does it is a fashion editorial feature for SCMP Style South China Morning Post Style Magazine, lensed by photographer Ben Lamberty. The series balances studio-based portraits with location work, pivoting between clean, minimalist backgrounds and the rugged expanse of the American desert. Fashion editor and stylist Aryeh Lappin curates a range of silhouettes, from high-contrast tailoring to relaxed, tactile outerwear. Hair stylist Riad Azar contributes a recurring, heavily textured, spiked look that punctuates the collection. Through an editorial lens, the project employs diverse technical approaches, layering Analogue / film techniques and natural light alongside crisp, direct Flash lighting to define the mood. Featuring models Alexis Petit and Mase Somanlall, the work explores a nostalgic aesthetic across both indoor and outdoor settings.
