The Dulux commercial spot, Stick, centers on a high-energy journey featuring a large sheepdog traversing various environments, from a suburban garden to professional gym and commercial interiors. The narrative opens in a quiet garage workspace, contrasting the meticulous act of opening a paint can with the fluid, kinetic motion of the animal throughout the film. Produced with creative direction from Clemenger BBDO Melbourne, the spot utilizes live-action techniques and cinematic pacing to capture the dog's movement. Post-production and VFX were managed by Fin Design + Effects, with production handled by Good Oil.
