Double Vision
Jonas Barros by Luigi and Iango

Apr 2026
In the world of high-end editorial photography, few duos command the visual language of luxury fashion quite like Luigi and Iango. Their latest collaboration, Double Vision, showcases model Jonas Barros in a masterclass of monochromatic portraiture that prioritizes structural tension and raw physicality. The project leans heavily into the chiaroscuro aesthetic, utilizing sharp studio strobe lighting to carve out the contours of Barros’s physique against minimalist, neutral backgrounds. By stripping back the distractions of color, the photography team focuses intently on the interplay between skin, muscle, and a curated selection of tactile accessories, ranging from voluminous faux-fur hats to ornate, oversized silver jewelry. The result is a series of portraits that feel simultaneously sculptural and intimate, capturing a sophisticated elegance that defines modern menswear editorial work. With styling by Elanur Erdoğan, the imagery balances sharp, tailored silhouettes against more organic, draped textures, creating a cohesive visual narrative. Each frame—whether depicting a dynamic balletic pose or a contemplative close-up—functions as an exploration of the human form as an art object. Through the lens of Luigi and Iango, Barros becomes a living sculpture, embodying the intersection of raw athleticism and the refined, dramatic sensibility that remains a hallmark of their collaborative practice in the luxury fashion sector.
