Dolce & Gabbana presents the Alta Moda Summer 2025 collection, an editorial fashion campaign set against the backdrop of Rome’s historic architecture. Featuring model Kristen McMenamy, the imagery navigates the interplay between ornate haute couture and the scale of classical ruins, including the Trevi Fountain. Photographed by Luigi & Iango, the project utilizes analogue film and monochrome techniques to highlight the intricate filigree, lace, and gemstone-encrusted detailing of the garments. The series leans into a maximalist aesthetic, with hair styling by Patti Bussa and makeup by Georgi Sandev defining the character-driven portraiture. Across both vertical and horizontal formats, the work shifts between golden hour warmth and high-contrast black-and-white compositions, grounding the luxury collection in the weathered textures of the Italian landscape.
