The Dolce & Gabbana Alta Moda Fall 2024 collection explores high-end Italian craftsmanship through an opulent, theatrical lens. Photographed by Alex Dobe, this editorial series emphasizes the tactile details of the collection, ranging from intricate filigree metalwork and encrusted gemstones to structured lace and embroidery. Working under the creative direction of designers Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana, the photography utilizes warm, directional lighting to accentuate the reflective surfaces of statement jewellery and rich garment textures. The series employs a macro focus to examine the artisanal techniques of the luxury fashion house, set against both dark, neutral backdrops and the dramatic golden hour light of a coastal shoreline.
