Dolce & Gabbana's Alta Sartoria project serves as a showcase for high-end luxury fashion, emphasizing elaborate artisanal techniques. The collection centers on the interplay between traditional craftsmanship and contemporary garment construction, utilizing embroidery, needlework, and ornate metallic detailing. Photographer Alex Dobe captures the collection through a blend of intimate macro photography and cinematic portraiture. The imagery highlights the tactile qualities of the apparel, from dense crochet appliques and intricate floral embroidery to hammered gold hardware. Under the creative direction of Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana, the campaign adopts a raw, earthy aesthetic that leverages natural light to accentuate the rich textures of the textiles and carved wooden ceremonial masks.
