About

Body of Water is a fashion editorial series produced for DNA Magazine Mexico. The project leans into surreal conceptual design, placing model Tetiana Marchuk in a series of highly controlled, minimalist environments. The imagery centers on the juxtaposition of organic botanical elements, specifically large-scale artificial lily pad props, against dark reflective water and sterile studio backdrops. Photographed by Will and Joan, the editorial utilizes clean, soft lighting to emphasize the stark lines of the wardrobe and the intricate details of the accessories. Fashion styling by Joy Sinanian integrates monochromatic palettes with high-contrast textures, while beauty direction from Hicham Ababsa and manicures by Romane Martini focus on a polished, wet-look aesthetic. The series employs editorial and surreal techniques to create a contemporary visual narrative.
