Division Twelve
Brand Identity

Mar 2020
Division Twelve leverages a striking visual identity to redefine its positioning within the specialty retailers and furniture design market. This comprehensive brand identity project creates a cohesive ecosystem that seamlessly bridges industrial durability with a contemporary, high-fashion aesthetic. By employing a deliberate mix of artistic, commercial, and corporate design elements, the visual language utilizes vivid primary color palettes—spanning magenta, teal, and yellow—against stark, minimalist backdrops. The execution relies heavily on the tension between precise, technical line illustrations and expansive, atmospheric landscape photography, which together ground the modern furniture pieces in a natural, rugged context. Central to the brand’s visual story is a sophisticated application of typography; clean, sans-serif layouts provide a functional, accessible backbone to the otherwise bold graphic compositions. Through the strategic use of 3D render/CGI techniques and UI illustration, the project translates a professional corporate branding approach into a highly engaging digital and print presence. Whether displayed on social media grids, marketing postcards, or technical catalog spreads, the work consistently emphasizes structural integrity and sustainable design practices. Under the skillful graphic design of Cossette, Division Twelve establishes a clear, recognizable persona that is as functional as it is conceptually daring, proving that even mass-produced commercial furniture can inhabit an elevated, artistic space when supported by such a rigorous and thoughtful design framework.
