Dazed MENA launches its inaugural Issue 00 for Winter 2024 with a series of covers that define the publication's arrival in the region. The editorial project captures a range of subjects, from entertainer Saint Levant to featured models, across diverse outdoor environments that highlight a commitment to high-end photography and distinct styling. The covers employ a mix of natural light and golden hour settings to create rich textural contrast, balancing high-fashion utility wear with classic editorial portraiture. The execution leans into analogue film techniques and clean, vertical compositions that frame the subjects against both urban architecture and coastal horizons. Creative direction for the issue is led by Editor-in-Chief Ahmad Ali Swaid, with fashion direction by Omaima Salem. The imagery features contributions from photographers Bharat Sikka, Davit Giorgadze, Ibrahem Hasan, Lea Colombo, and Pascal Gambarte, alongside casting direction by Franziska Bachofen Echt and Nafisa Kaptownwala.
