Antithesis is a fashion editorial series for D Repubblica that explores contrasting silhouettes and textural duality. Captured by photographer Oliver Hadlee Pearch, the project leans into a moody, high-contrast aesthetic that utilizes monochrome grading and cinematic low-key lighting to define its sharp, theatrical narrative. Models Rosalieke Fuchs and Sihana Shalaj feature throughout the series, dressed in structured tailoring, intricate lace, and statement gemstone jewelry. The production relies on a collaborative creative team to establish its distinct atmosphere, with fashion styling by Katie Burnett, hair by Cyndia Harvey, and makeup by Lucy Bridge. The imagery incorporates elements of analogue film techniques and clean studio composition to emphasize form, further supported by the architectural set design of Sophear Van Froment. Casting was directed by Giulia Massullo and Piergiorgio Del Moro, with additional detail work by manicurist Beatrice Eni.
