D Repubblica: Antithesis

Antithesis is a fashion editorial series for D Repubblica that explores contrasting silhouettes and textures. Through a lens of high-contrast monochrome, the work leans into an atmospheric and cinematic narrative, playing with the tension between structured tailoring and intimate studio staging. The project features photography by Oliver Hadlee Pearch and fashion styling by Katie Burnett, who assemble a series of portraits defined by sharp tailoring, ornate jewellery, and theatrical props. Architectural set design by Sophear Van Froment grounds the editorial in a deliberate, moody space, while hair styling by Cyndia Harvey and makeup by Lucy Bridge emphasize a polished, gritty aesthetic. The series features models Rosalieke Fuchs and Sihana Shalaj in a collection of clean, analogue-style shots that utilise low-key lighting to accentuate fabric depth and sculptural details.
