Clue Perfumery
Brand Identity

Apr 2024
Clue Perfumery’s brand identity project establishes a distinct visual language for the fragrance house, blending artisanal apothecary aesthetics with contemporary graphic design. The project spans a variety of media, from studio-lit product photography to analogue-style film that documents the hand-crafted nature of the brand’s fragrance formulation. Utilizing a monochrome palette contrasted with warm, amber-toned visuals, the campaign highlights the tactile design of the flacons through a mix of cinematic videography and illustrative storytelling. Creative direction is supported by a wide-ranging collaboration, featuring graphic design by Caleb Vanden Boom and Kate Doyle, photography by Steven John Miner and Breakfast for Dinner, illustration by Braulio Amado, Sophy Hollington, and Gustavo Eandi, videography by Jake Nokovic, and web development by Estudio Buena Suerte. The work leans into a cinematic and minimalist approach, incorporating Super 8/16mm techniques to evoke an immersive, hand-crafted narrative.
