Description

The MUSE editorial series for Citizen K International is a study in high-fashion portraiture, centering on the intersection of sculptural garments and ornate jewellery. Across the collection, the work leans into a moody, high-contrast aesthetic that prioritises rich textures and refined silhouettes against deep, shadowy backgrounds. Photographer Noémi Ottilia Szabo captures the subjects with a focus on dramatic lighting and chiaroscuro techniques, often employing analogue film and grainy textures to ground the polished compositions. Fashion editor and stylist Laurent Dombrowicz curates an array of layered accessories and structured pieces, while hair by Mijo Majhen and makeup by Carole Lasnier provide a consistent, high-impact finish. Casting by Barbara Blanchard rounds out the production, which brings together a variety of textures—from velvet and lace to metallic-toned pleats—in a cohesive, editorial frame.
