Circle Zero Eight presents its #7 2025 covers, a series of editorial portraits that capture the intersection of professional athletics and high-fashion aesthetics. Through a lens of raw intensity, the project channels a mood of physical exertion and deliberate stillness, utilizing low-key lighting and chiaroscuro techniques to sculpt musculature and emphasize tactile skin textures. The series features photography by Sharif Hamza, Simon Eeles, and Sophie Jones, with fashion styling helmed by Elgar Johnson and Reuben Esser. The imagery leans into a gritty, athletic narrative, incorporating movement, deliberate motion blur, and controlled studio settings to frame its subjects in moments of triumph or disciplined rest. Supporting the visual depth of the collection, the production includes hair styling by Lauraine Bailey, makeup by Athena Paginton, movement direction by Yagamoto, and manicures by Hayley Evans Smith. Nat Bury also contributed to the project.
