CFCL S/S 27 Men's Lookbook

Jun 2026
For the CFCL S/S 27 collection, the brand leans into a refined architectural sensibility that defines the current landscape of designer fashion. Captured with a focus on editorial minimalism, the lookbook project strips away unnecessary noise to foreground the technical mastery of the garments themselves. Photographer Kinya brings a sharp, disciplined eye to the proceedings, utilizing a blend of studio strobe and natural light to emphasize the distinct tactile qualities of the knitwear. Every frame serves as a study in balance, where the structural, ribbed textures of the collection meet the soft, composed styling of Takafumi Kawasaki. By placing models Daisuke Ueda and Kohei Takabatake against clean, tonal studio backdrops, the visuals allow the layered silhouettes—ranging from pleated wide-leg trousers to structured, mock-neck blazers—to command full attention. The project feels quintessentially modern, finding sophistication in monochromatic palettes and deliberate, geometric detailing. With hair styling by Kotaro completing the polished, front-facing aesthetic, the series functions as both a commercial catalogue and a broader statement on functional luxury. Ultimately, the work succeeds by prioritizing the interplay between light and form, ensuring that the inventive construction of the pieces remains the protagonist of the narrative. It is a precise, visually coherent presentation that exemplifies how contemporary fashion photography can celebrate complexity through a lens of total clarity and calm, restrained elegance.
