Carcy Magazine's 10 FOR 10 project presents a series of fashion editorials that explore avant-garde aesthetics through a lens of sharp, graphic design. The collection channels a gritty, analogue feel, employing natural light and high-contrast flash to emphasize sculptural silhouettes and unconventional garment details. Photographer Marlen Keller collaborates with fashion editor and stylist Nilo Akbari to curate a visual narrative defined by experimental layering and bold, clean color-blocking. The imagery leans into moody, low-key lighting and distinct textural elements, highlighting technical elements like split-toe footwear, geometric overlays, and statement accessories. Hair styling by Moe Mukai and makeup by Mee Kee provide structural cohesion across the series, framing the portraits with precision and dramatic detail.
