Budget Direct Meteoric Mayhem 2025

About

Budget Direct brings high-stakes narrative to the insurance category with Meteoric Mayhem. The commercial follows a man and woman behind the wheel of a classic car as they navigate an urban environment suddenly besieged by a falling meteor. The spot leans into a cinematic aesthetic, utilizing live-action technique paired with heavy VFX to illustrate the chaos of the urban scene. The execution balances dynamic camera angles with a desaturated color palette to maintain a tense, action-heavy atmosphere throughout the sequence. Produced with creative input from 303 MullenLowe, the project features production support from Good Oil and Louis & Co. Visual effects were handled by Good Oil and Blockhead VFX, with music and sound design provided by Sonar Music.
