SCMP Style South China Morning Post Style Magazine Bringing Sexy Back 2026

About

Bringing Sexy Back is a fashion editorial series produced for SCMP Style, featuring model Dilone. The series explores sharp tailoring and minimalist silhouettes through a series of high-contrast studio portraits. The photography, led by Ricardo Beas, emphasizes clean lines and dynamic posture against a stark white backdrop, utilizing natural light and high-key techniques to highlight garment textures, ranging from sequined tops to leather blazers. The project features fashion styling by Aryeh Lappin, which focuses on bold, monochromatic ensembles and structured accessories. The visual identity is further defined by slicked-back hair styling from Ledora and dramatic smoky makeup application by Andrew Colvin.
