This comprehensive brand identity system for artist Alex Fulton centres on a vibrant, multi-disciplinary aesthetic. The project spans digital and physical touchpoints, utilizing high-contrast color blocking and bold sans-serif typography to establish a distinct visual language. Bathgate Design led the design execution, creating a cohesive look that carries through web interface layouts, promotional print collateral, and tactile emboss and deboss applications.
The identity comes to life through a mix of editorial photography and live-action technique, captured by Meg Stuthridge and Toaki Okano. The photography leans into graphic compositions, featuring art-directed vignettes with textured textiles, sculptural elements, and playful props that reinforce the artist's focus on visual joy. Supporting the online presence, the brand also integrates clean, minimalist web development by Subject Matter.
