Blau International’s Make Believe is an editorial campaign that leans into an avant-garde aesthetic through a series of striking, high-contrast portraits. The project utilizes long exposure and multiple exposure techniques to create a dynamic, motion-blurred visual narrative across a range of desaturated and neon-hued compositions. Captured by photographer Mark Luckasavage, the series features fashion styling by Marie Chaix and hair styling by Akemi Kishida, with makeup artistry by Niamh Quinn. The atmospheric, low-key lighting and cinematic set design by Rafael Medeiros provide a consistent, moody framework for the diverse character studies, while casting by Bert Martirosyan underscores the project's distinct stylistic identity.
