Blau International presents MAKE BELIEVE, a fashion editorial series that leans into experimental photography techniques. The project utilizes long exposure and multiple exposure effects to create a moody, avant-garde visual narrative across a series of vertical portraits. Photographer Mark Luckasavage captures the subjects using a low-key chiaroscuro aesthetic, often employing neon lighting and warm amber hues. The editorial styling by Marie Chaix incorporates textured elements, feathers, and metallic accessories, set against stark or graphic backgrounds. Set design by Rafael Medeiros and casting by Bert Martirosyan ground the ethereal, motion-blurred imagery, with hair styling by Akemi Kishida and makeup by Niamh Quinn defining the artistic composition of each frame.
