BIMBA Y LOLA explores sustainable design in the Bimba y Palomo upcycling project, a fashion campaign highlighting deconstructed tailoring and avant-garde craftsmanship. The editorial series features a range of sculptural garments, utilizing intricate fabric rosettes, layered floral appliques, and metallic embellishments to transform salvaged materials into structured silhouettes. The imagery adopts a clean, high-key aesthetic to emphasize the tactile quality of the collection. Shot by photographer Roi Romay, the portraits maintain a consistent studio environment against neutral backgrounds, allowing the complex construction of the pieces to take center stage. Fashion styling by Borja Vilas and makeup by Mabel Boon complete the visual narrative, with model Ivy Stewart fronting the series. The project leverages editorial photography and minimalist lighting to document the innovative textures of the upcycled pieces.
