About

BELLEZA 111 is a beauty editorial project produced for Elle Mexico. The series features a collection of portraits focused on avant-garde hair and makeup styling, utilizing clean studio aesthetics to highlight contrast and detail. Photographer Yanran Xiong captures the work through intimate framing, employing varied lighting techniques ranging from bright, even studio light to soft, directional illumination. Hair stylist Jenni Iva Wimmerstedt and makeup artist Christyna Kay collaborate on the series, integrating textured elements and vibrant palettes—including graphic liners and bold hair coloring—against minimalist, seamless backgrounds. Casting was managed by Alicia Fotino.
