Various Campaigns: Bauhaus Ballet
Sep 2026
Bauhaus Ballet is an editorial project that channels early twentieth-century avant-garde performance through a series of cinematic, theatrical portraits. The work features actors Adrien Brody and Gwendoline Christie positioned within surreal, minimalist architectural sets, utilizing geometric forms and high-contrast monochrome tones to evoke a painterly, timeless aesthetic. Photographer and art director Szilveszter Mako leads the visual execution, blending sharp, directional lighting with precise, staged compositions. The project relies on layered textures and classic styling by Lisa Jarvis to create a diorama-like quality. Production was managed by Siyan Chen, with beauty direction by hair stylist Panos Papandrianos and makeup artist Vanessa Icareg.
