Base cast presents Tall Poppies, a fashion editorial series that leans into a monochromatic, high-contrast aesthetic. The work utilizes saturated red lighting to construct a theatrical atmosphere, blending surreal botanical motifs with luxury accessories and apparel. Through a focus on chiaroscuro techniques and sculpted wet-look hair, the imagery creates a graphic, moody visual language. Photographer Milos Mlynarik leads the creative execution, collaborating with fashion stylist Emma Cotterill to define the series' sharp, minimalist silhouettes. The production features hair styling by Anthony Nader and makeup artistry by Tracy Terashima, which together emphasize the series' focus on texture and dramatic tonal gradients.
