The faces we wear is an editorial portrait series by photographer Milos Mlynarik. The collection documents a range of subjects in intimate, candid moments, focusing on expressions and personal textures. Shot on analogue film, the portraits utilize a monochrome aesthetic that emphasizes the natural grain and raw detail of the subjects. The project incorporates contributions from hairstylist Anthony Nader and makeup artist Tracy Terashima, who help define the varied visual character of each subject. Featuring vertical and square compositions, the series remains consistent through the inclusion of film border margins and sprocket holes, grounding the work in an authentic darkroom style.
