Bolero Magazine Back to the Future Editorial 2026

About

Back to the Future is a fashion editorial for Bolero Magazine that explores the intersection of classic silhouettes and modern textures. Shot by photographer Alessandro Oliva, the series leans into an editorial aesthetic characterized by clean, minimalist compositions and a deliberate use of natural light. Featuring model Pien Laureijssen, the imagery shifts between high-contrast monochrome portraits and warm, earthy color palettes. The production utilizes a mix of analogue film techniques and sharp studio framing to highlight intricate garment details, from chunky knits to fringe work. Styling by Martina Riebeck centers on layered, structured apparel, with hair by Simone Prusso and makeup by Martina Bolis providing a refined finish to the narrative. Casting was directed by Diego Maffezzoni.
