August Barron
ALL–IN Nº9 “Sleeping Beauty”

Jun 2026
August Barron elevates the conventions of contemporary fashion with ALL-IN Nº9 Sleeping Beauty, a conceptual editorial project that masterfully interrogates the boundaries between luxury fashion and performance art. Through a series of highly stylized images, the project leans into an ethereal, dreamlike atmosphere where the human form becomes a canvas for experimental textiles and complex layering. Photographer Marili Andre captures these subjects within a stark, minimalist studio environment, utilizing a sharp interplay of studio strobe and natural light to emphasize the intricate textures of crochet lace, sheer tulle, and raw industrial fabrics. The work functions as a high-fashion editorial, blending lifestyle portraiture with a distinct conceptual rigor. Stylist Emma Wyman curates an eclectic, tactile wardrobe that oscillates between structured military aesthetics and fluid, dramatic silhouettes, while set designer Emma Roach creates a series of curated vignettes that balance industrial elements with soft, domestic motifs. The visual narrative is further refined by the hair styling of Shiori Takahashi and the precise makeup artistry of Vassilis Theotokis, ensuring each composition maintains a cohesive yet provocative tension. Whether draped in heavy, graphic-printed cloths or reclining within an intimate hammock setting, the project channels a sophisticated, avant-garde sensibility, ultimately delivering a compelling exploration of beauty that feels both timeless and aggressively modern in its execution.
