ALL-IN N°9 - Moni Haworth, Lotta Volkova

Jun 2026
For the ninth issue of ALL-IN, photographer Moni Haworth and fashion editor Lotta Volkova collaborate on a striking visual narrative that subverts the traditional presentation of luxury fashion. Captured through a lens of editorial minimalism, the project channels a raw, utilitarian energy by placing soft-toned pastel ensembles against the stark, weathered backdrops of derelict industrial warehouses and vacated retail spaces. The resulting imagery leans into a documentary sensibility, prioritizing candid movement and the tactile reality of high-fashion fabrics like satin and cashmere over overly polished staging. By juxtaposing delicate peach, apricot, and pale pink garments against peeling paint, industrial shelving, and concrete floors, the work creates a compelling tension between the precious and the mundane. The project captures model Wolfgang Beck in a series of observational portraits that feel both intimate and detached, utilizing diffused natural light to emphasize the rich textures of the clothing against a background of shipping boxes and raw architecture. This fusion of gritty realism and refined styling defines the editorial aesthetic of the issue, presenting a sophisticated, nuanced exploration of material and environment that moves beyond typical fashion tropes to craft an atmosphere of quiet, intentional isolation.
