Form as Witness is a fashion editorial series produced for Arena Homme + China. The project highlights contemporary menswear through a lens of architectural minimalism and material texture, set against a backdrop of urban environments and industrial surfaces. The execution relies on soft, natural light to emphasize the fine detail in tailored wool, knitwear, and shearling outerwear. Photographer Massimiliano Gallus captures the subjects—including Leander Straub, Martin Miller, and Cheikh Diakhate—in a mix of composed, static portraits and kinetic, motion-filled shots. The editorial direction is defined by a clean, deliberate aesthetic, occasionally punctuated by monochromatic or grainy film treatments that ground the high-fashion styling by Alessandro Travaini. Hair and makeup by Loris Rocchi and Katja Wilhelmus provide a consistent, refined finish throughout the series.
