The Exile is a monochrome fashion editorial series for Archives Futures, captured through the lens of photographer Gautier Pellegrin. The project explores themes of minimalist menswear and structured silhouette, utilizing high-contrast lighting to define the intricate textures of tailored coats and metallic accessories. Fashion styling by Chiara Buccelli elevates the series with a focus on oversized outerwear, detailed lapels, and subtle organic accents. With casting by Simone Bart Rocchietti, the imagery moves between contemplative studio portraits and urban environmental shots. The series employs analogue film techniques to create a gritty, low-key aesthetic that highlights the interplay between light, shadow, and architectural form.
