The Exile is a fashion editorial project for Archives Futures that explores structured menswear and accessory details through a minimalist lens. Captured by photographer Gautier Pellegrin and styled by fashion editor Chiara Buccelli, the series features models Lando van der Schee and Valters Medenis in a range of tailored outerwear, including oversized trench coats and cropped jackets. The project leans into an analogue film aesthetic, utilizing high-contrast monochrome tones and dramatic shadowplay to accentuate garment textures. Whether set against clean studio backdrops or architectural urban environments, the imagery employs low-key chiaroscuro and soft directional lighting to maintain a contemplative, understated mood.
