Captured for AnOther Man Magazine, this extensive editorial series explores the intersection of contemporary portraiture and studio practice. Photographer Paul Mpagi Sepuya anchors the project in a minimalist, gallery-like environment, utilizing raw studio architecture and reflective metallic spheres to create a sculptural dialogue between the subjects and the space. The composition frequently employs frames-within-frames, layering the models against hanging photographic prints to blur the lines between subject and document. Styling by Jordan Duddy leans into a polished, contemporary aesthetic, mixing structured leather outerwear, layered patterned garments, and technical sportswear. With casting by Bert Martirosyan, the series features appearances by Hari Nef and a collective of models, maintaining a clean, consistent visual language across both individual portraiture and group arrangements. The project is defined by a bright, even aesthetic, leveraging natural light to emphasize the textures of the apparel and the metallic surfaces of the props.
