The Suspended Realm Of Cards is a fashion editorial series for AnOther Man China that reimagines tarot archetypes through a surreal, avant-garde lens. Photographed by Szilveszter Mako, the series anchors its narrative in the visual language of traditional tarot cards, merging live-action photography with graphic collage techniques. Featuring model Bai, the editorial utilizes structured tailoring and intricate layering to define each archetype. The compositions are built upon illustrative backgrounds, from stormy oceanic scenes and floral motifs to celestial icons, resulting in a layered, textured aesthetic. Hair styling by MingHu Zhang and makeup by Clive.x support the conceptual, surreal theme of the project.
