Spring 2025 Ad Campaign

Feb 2025
For the anOnlyChild Spring 2025 campaign, creative director Maxwell Osborne explores the friction between high-fashion luxury and the kinetic energy of metropolitan life. Captured by photographer Tyler Joe, the imagery moves beyond traditional lookbook constraints, leaning into a reportage style that highlights the architectural drape of the collection against the gritty, lived-in textures of city streets. Throughout the series, the styling by Ronald Burton III emphasizes oversized silhouettes, accordion pleating, and technical piping, creating a visual rhythm that feels both deliberate and spontaneous. The campaign makes masterful use of natural light, transitioning from the crisp, bright clarity of midday street scenes to the high-contrast, cinematic atmosphere of urban nightscapes. Through clever use of live-action techniques and long-exposure motion blur, the work bridges the gap between commercial editorial and street-level storytelling. Casting director Trevor Swain anchors the project with a diverse ensemble that commands the sidewalk, imbuing the brand's minimalist, avant-garde aesthetic with a grounded, human sensibility. By integrating the brand's identity directly into the composition of the frame, the campaign solidifies anOnlyChild as a label that thrives in motion, transforming ordinary urban crosswalks and brick facades into the perfect backdrop for contemporary luxury fashion. It is an exercise in editorial minimalism, where the garment and the environment exist in a seamless, fluid conversation.
