Agent Provocateur
"Girls of Horror" Fall 2024 Ad Campaign

Oct 2024
Agent Provocateur leans into the macabre for its Girls of Horror Fall 2024 campaign, masterfully blending the provocative allure of lingerie with a chilling, cinematic aesthetic. Under the vision of creative director Sarah Shotton, the project transforms traditional fashion photography into a moody, narrative-driven experience. The campaign captures an opulent atmosphere where ornate, dark wood-paneled interiors and plush, vibrant red velvet serve as the backdrop for complex, high-end editorial pieces. Through a mix of studio strobe and natural light, the visual storytelling emphasizes the delicate tension between sheer lace textures, bold metallic hardware, and classic, vintage-inspired motifs. Stylist Karen Langley curates an evocative lookbook that feels simultaneously historical and modern, while set designer Anna Burns crafts environments that push the boundaries of luxury. The imagery, enriched by the live-action technique, maintains a cohesive, high-fashion polish that feels like a dark fairytale brought to life. By pairing intricate garment details—such as feather trims and floral embroidery—with dramatic lighting and curated props, the work transcends standard commercial expectations. This project not only showcases the technical precision of the brand but also underscores a masterful use of editorial minimalism within the luxury lingerie and underwear industry, ensuring every shot remains as haunting as it is beautiful.
