About

The Acne Studios Fall 2026 campaign leans into an atmospheric, raw aesthetic, captured through the distinct lens of photographer Nan Goldin. Under the creative direction of Jonny Johansson, the series centres on a diverse cast including Juliette Lewis, Ellie Rowsell, and Guinevere Van Seenus, set against weathered, highly tactile interiors. Featuring distressed denim-on-denim looks styled by Robbie Spencer, the imagery makes extensive use of chiaroscuro lighting and moody, vintage-inspired backdrops, ranging from peeling plaster to deep velvet textiles. Techniques including directional flash and soft, diffused natural light accentuate the project's grounded, candid tone. With set design by Matt Jackson and grooming contributions from hair stylist Jimmy Paul and makeup artist Christian Fritzenwanker, the campaign maintains a consistent editorial focus on texture and composition.
