Achtung Magazine presents 'A coat is a cape is a skirt is a sleeve,' a fashion editorial feature exploring the versatility and sculptural potential of contemporary tailoring. Photographed by Tobias Wirth, the series captures model Clara Heitkamp navigating a series of high-contrast compositions that range from stark, minimalist studio sets to kinetic, outdoor urban environments. The project leans into surrealist styling and layered silhouettes, emphasizing tactile materials like leather, shearling, and heavy knits. Through a combination of high-key lighting and monochrome street photography, the imagery uses graphic framing and long-exposure techniques to highlight the fluid movement of fabrics.
