The series leans into a moody, high-contrast aesthetic, utilizing low-key chiaroscuro lighting to accentuate complex textures and silhouettes. Through a monochrome palette, the work emphasizes the architectural nature of hair design and theatrical makeup, presenting sculptural forms that blur the lines between fashion and fine art. The project was captured by photographer Marcus Schaefer, with hair styling by Eugene Souleiman and makeup artistry by Val Garland. Under the direction of Editor-in-Chief Sophia Neophitou, the editorial spread features multiple-exposure techniques and intricate framing to document these surreal, tactile creations.
