Romin Favre, born in December 1981 in the breathtaking French Alps, spent his formative years immersed in the natural beauty of the countryside and towering mountains, where a camera became his ever-present companion. This early connection to the wilderness ignited a lifelong passion for photography, shaping his artistic vision. At the age of 16, Romin relocated to Paris to pursue his high school education, and in 2003, he graduated and launched a career as a graphic designer. This pivotal experience honed his ability to compose compelling images, masterfully merging structure with vibrant, organic elements. His fascination with fashion led him to a prominent role as art director for Diesel, where he crafted captivating advertising campaigns for four years. Following this, he co-founded an advertising and graphic design agency, a venture he nurtured until 2012. In that transformative year, Romin fully committed to his photography, collaborating with renowned publications such as Cosmopolitan and Les Echos. His work, characterized by a colorful and playful aesthetic, is deeply influenced by dreams and childhood memories, aiming to capture fleeting emotions and intricate details within each frame. Remarkably, Romin is a self-taught photographer, translating his imaginative visions into striking visual narratives without the confines of formal training. Over the years, Romin has continually refined his artistic approach, focusing on simplification while preserving the creativity that defines his work. He has also explored the realm of film direction, skillfully animating his photographs through motion.
