Ria Kamat Shetty

Bio

Ria Kamat Shetty is a Sydney-based fashion stylist and creative consultant. Her career in fashion dates back to 2008, when she pursued a BA Honours degree from London College of Fashion, University of the Arts, London. During her time in the fashion capital, she also worked as an intern at Condé Nast UK. Upon her return to India, she began working with Marie Claire as a Fashion Stylist, followed by Vogue India as their Fashion Stylist and later Fashion Editor for seven years. In 2021, she moved to Sydney where she began working for Australian fashion brand AJE as the Head of Brand Visuals. Today, her work as an image and fashion creator focuses on diversifying representation within the industry. Ria’s work celebrates colour and stylistic juxtaposition, fusing together a medley of textures, patterns, silhouettes and cultural references that are informed by her global perspective and collaborative approach to image creation.
